- Official Transcripts: You must submit official transcripts from all institutions you have attended. These transcripts should be sent directly to the University of Florida Office of Admissions. For some applicants within the United States, transcripts may be forwarded electronically if there is an agreement between your institution and the University of Florida.

Required courses include at least one year of calculus, one semester of physics and biology, or one year of either subject. Applicants must also demonstrate computer competency and have completed chemistry coursework: one semester for Civil and Coastal Engineering (CCE) applicants and two semesters for Environmental Engineering Sciences (EES) applicants. - Graduate Admissions Application: Finally, you must complete the University of Florida’s graduate admissions application. This form is your gateway to the entire admissions process and should be filled out with care.
If you have previously applied to the University of Florida and were not admitted, you have the option to reapply. However, it is important to note that the admissions committee expects to see significant changes in your new application.
If you choose to reapply, include an explanation in your statement of purpose detailing what has changed since your previous application and why you believe you are now a more competitive candidate. This could involve improved test scores, additional research experience, new publications, or other relevant factors. The admissions committee evaluates all aspects of your application holistically, so even if you have improved in one area, make sure that the rest of your application is equally strong.

Deadlines
The University of Florida requires that all online applications and required materials be submitted by specific deadlines. For U.S. applicants, the deadlines are as follows: for the Fall semester, Master’s and Ph.D. programs have a deadline of June 1, with priority funding consideration for Ph.D. applications by December 5 and for Master’s applications by January 5. For the Spring semester, the deadline is November 15 for both Master’s and Ph.D. programs. For the Summer semester, the Master’s program has a deadline of March 31 (applicable only to the Distance EDGE program), while the Ph.D. program deadline is March 1.
For international applicants, the deadlines are March 1 for Fall admissions, September 1 for Spring admissions. For Summer Admissions, the deadlines are March 1 for Master’s program and r November 15 for Ph.D. programs.
