Application Process
To apply for the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship, follow these steps:
- Apply for a Master’s Program: Submit an application for an eligible master’s program at Utrecht University before the stated deadline.
- Access the Scholarship Application: From 1 November 2024, non-EU/EEA students who have applied for eligible programs will see the Utrecht Excellence Scholarship (UES) application option in their OSIRIS Online Application account.
- Submit the Scholarship Application:
- Log in to your OSIRIS account and click on the UES application linked to your chosen master’s program.
- Upload proof showing you are in the top 10% of your graduating class (e.g., a class ranking certificate, GPA with grade distribution, or a signed and stamped reference letter from your university).
- Answer the questions provided in the application and submit it.
NOTE:
- The application portal is open for an extended period, so submit your application early. Early submission allows time for document review and corrections if needed.
- If you submit your application between 27 January and 1 February, incomplete or incorrect information cannot be updated. Ensure you apply as early as possible to avoid issues.

Scholarship Duration
